Giza Pyramids
The Pyramids of Giza are three impressive structures from the 4th dynasty, built around 2575 to 2465 BC.
They sit on a rocky plateau on the west side of the Nile River, close to Giza in northern Egypt. Back in the day, they were considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World. In 1979, the ancient ruins in the Memphis area, which include the Pyramids of Giza, along with Ṣaqqārah, Dahshūr, Abū Ruwaysh, and Abū Ṣīr, were recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
