The Quran Roundabout is a well-known feature in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. It is famous for its striking sculpture of the Holy Quran , which rises majestically at the heart of the roundabout.

The roundabout was initially called “Shula,” which translates to “flame,” because of a prominent flame sculpture that used to be there. However, for safety reasons, the flame was taken down and replaced with a sculpture of the Quran, leading to a change in the name to honor its new focal point.
