Sheikh Zayed Mosque Fujairah
The Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Fujairah stands as a stunning architectural gem and is the second-largest mosque in the United Arab Emirates.
This magnificent religious building features towering minarets that reach six hundred meters high and boasts sixty-four stunning domes. It can accommodate up to 28,000 worshippers comfortably and spans over 39,000 square meters, which is roughly the size of three football fields. The architectural design closely resembles that of the Sultan Ahmed Mosque in Istanbul, blending Ottoman, Arabic, and modern styles beautifully. While non-Muslim visitors cannot enter, the view from outside is impressive enough to warrant a visit. This striking mosque, which graces the Fujairah skyline, was completed in just seven hundred days at a cost of AED 200 million. It is named in honor of the UAE’s founder, Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
